Hello,

With chrome beta it seems like chrome beta browser is flickering whenever wallpaper rotate after set amount of time. This also causes all the chrome windows in different virtual desktop on windows 10 to consolidate on a single virtual desktop.

Thanks

I'll test this out here and see what I can find out. Are you on the Chrome Beta, Dev, or Canary build?

Thanks, I can't seem to reproduce this here. Does this happen with the latest Chrome stable as well?

Hello,

This doesn't happen with chrome stable only in beta. When the background image rotates chrome browser flickers.

Are you using a custom theme, or just the default Chrome theme?

I experience flickers and am on a custom theme. Let me try with the standard one.

Edit: even with the default theme, Chrome window flickers after the transition of the background image is complete.

I would like to add that I have this issue as well running DF 9.5 beta 1. I'm using Chrome stable with a custom theme, though.

I just realized this thread is almost 3 weeks old. It's very likely that the Chrome beta that OP was using merged with stable.

If you disable the Aero Colour Mode option on the DisplayFusion Settings > Options tab, and also make sure that the option to set the accent colour automatically in the Windows Personalization settings is disabled, that should stop Chrome from flickering when the wallpaper changes.

Thanks!

This does work but is an actual fix coming or is it chrome's fault, not DP's fault?

It's a Chrome/Windows issue. Any time the Windows accent colour changes, whether DF, Windows, or some other app sets it will cause this issue :(
